The Death Penalty: Voices of Experience

April 20, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Joe D’Ambrosio

Joe D’Ambrosio was convicted and sentenced to death for a murder he did not commit. He spent 22 years on death row. While on death row, he met Fr. Neil Kookoothe and convinced him to take a look at his case. With his experience as a nurse and an attorney, Fr. Neil studied the records and realized that Joe was in fact innocent. Together they proved it and won Joe’s release. Joe and Fr. Neil will share their stories with time for questions and answers. With such a close call and the many others like it, what should we do about capital punishment in Pennsylvania? You will not want to miss this opportunity to hear from two men with personal experience of death row.

Free event. Members of the public are encouraged to attend. Please register at eventbrite in advance so that we can prepare accordingly.
